Field Descriptions
The location of the port associated with the system link
Location
(cabinet-carrier-slot-circuit).
The type of system link as follows:
Type
EAL—Expansion archangel link
INL—Indirect neighbor link (center stage switch)
PRI—ISDN-PRI signaling link
BFD—Bearer fault detection link
ACL—ATM control link
TACL—Trunk ATM control link
RSCL—Remote socket control link
The highest level of alarm currently logged against the components making up
Alarms
the link.
The operational status of the current path:
Current
Path
none: The link is down.
present: The current path displayed below is valid.
Whether the system link is "up" or "down."
State
The date and time that the link came up
Time Up
The status of the faulted path, if any:
Faulted
Path
present: The path of the link has been faulted at least once.
none: There is no record of the link having gone down.
default: The default faulted path is being used.
The date and time at which the most recent fault occurred.
Last Fault
The location, maintenance name, and alarm information for each hardware
Current
component making up the current path of the link. The path begins at the Packet
Hardware
Interface on the IPSI and terminates at the circuit path that terminates the other
Path
end of the link.
If the link encounters a fault, the system will reroute it if possible over an alternate
Faulted
route. If this has taken place, the faulted path is displayed on page 2 of the
Hardware
report. The location, maintenance name, and alarm information for each
Path
hardware component making up the most recent faulted path is shown.
