The current source of timing signals used for system synchronization
For systems with a Stratum 3 clock:
External – Normal operating condition
Internal – Another source besides the Stratum 3 clock, such as a
Tone-Clock circuit or circuit pack, is providing the master timing signal.
For systems with Stratum 4 timing:
Primary – The primary administered timing source
Secondary – The secondary administered timing source
Local – Another source besides the administered ones, such as a
Tone-Clock circuit or circuit pack, is providing the master timing signal.
Number of current users
Cabinet number
Cabinet numbers can be related to port network numbers with the list
cabinet command.
The current setting of the switches on the PN's Maintenance circuit packs
that control Emergency Transfer. See EMG-XFER in
The following states are available:
Emergency Transfer is under system control and is not
Auto-
currently activated (normal operating state).
Emergency Transfer is under system control and is in effect.
Auto+
On
Emergency Transfer has been manually activated. This setting
should only be in effect during an emergency.
mergency Transfer is manually prevented from occurring. This

setting should only be in effect when a technician is on site.
The setting of the switch in this PN is not available to the switch.
