3.2 Volume Management > show extreme-cache

show extreme-cache

This command displays whether the Extreme Cache (EXC) function is enabled. This command also displays the
currently-specified PFM capacity that is used as an EXC and the maximum PFM capacity that can be used as an
EXC.
This command is not available for the ETERNUS DX100 S3/DX200 S3 or the ETERNUS DX200F.

The following example displays the result of a command execution when the EXC function is enabled:

Caching Threshold
Indicates whether the EXC function is enabled.
Maximum PFM capacity that can be used as an EXC
Displays the initial cache threshold. The initial cache threshold, when used for the first time, is
the number of times data is discarded from DRAM until the data is staging in the PFM. This
value is enabled until the PFM is in a usable state after the device is powered ON or until the
Extreme Cache function is enabled.
Displays the cache threshold. The cache threshold is the number of times data is discarded
from DRAM until the data is staging in the PFM. This value is enabled when the PFM is in a
usable state after the device is powered ON or when the Extreme Cache function is enabled.
When discarding becomes prohibited, "Disable" is displayed.
