Chapter 7 NAS Function Setting and Display

Set up the NAS network.
Assign an IP address to the NIC CA port with the "create nas-interface" command.
To check the status of the network settings, use the "show nas-interface" command. To change the
settings after a network setting is created, use the "set nas-interface" command.
To delete a network setting, use the "delete nas-interface" command.
The NAS function cannot be used when no system volumes exist. To check whether system volumes exist,
use the "show volumes" command.

System volumes are automatically created when Thin Provisioning Volumes for a NAS are created. To create
Thin Provisioning Volumes for a NAS, use the "create volume" command.
The system volumes are listed below. System volumes are required to control the NAS function.

$SYSVOL3
After performing
"create nas-interface" command.
The following operations cannot be performed for Thin Provisioning Volumes that are used for NAS in
which a shared folder exists.

Do not perform Zero Reclamation for Thin Provisioning Volumes that are being used for NAS or the system
volume.
The capacity of Thin Provisioning Volumes for NAS cannot be expanded.
