REPLACEMENT

REMOVING THE OIL PAN
1. DISCHARGING ENGINE OIL
(1) Remove the drain plug of the oil pan to drain engine oil.

2. REMOVING THE OIL PAN
(1) Unfasten the 26 bolts to remove the oil pan and gasket from the
cylinder block.
NOTICE
• If the gasket is stuck and hard to separate, use a scraper to
peel it off.
• Prepare the reservoir and clean clothes oil pan because the
engine oil will spill when removing the oil pan.
