REMOVING THE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY
(1)
Unfasten the 2-4 bolts and mount 2-4 guide bolts to the oil cooler
assembly to prevent dropping.

Unfasten the remaining 9-11 bolts to remove the oil cooler assem-
bly straight from the cylinder block.
NOTICE
Prepare the reservoir and clean clothes to collect dripping engine
oil and coolant when removing the oil cooler assembly.
! CAUTION
To avoid the oil cooler element from dropping off, do not unfasten
the oil cooler element mounting nuts.

NOTICE
If the liquid gasket is stuck to the cylinder block and it is hard to

remove the oil cooler assembly, remove it by placing the flat-blade
ASSEMBLY
screwdriver to the protrusion shown in the figure.

Remove the O-rings (3 pcs.) from the oil cooler assembly.

Remove the guide bolts from the cylinder block.
