2. REMOVING THE ELEMENT
(1) Disengage the claw and loosen the fuel filter cover to remove it.

(2) Remove the fuel filter element from the fuel filter cover.
(3) Remove the O-ring from the fuel filter cover.
! CAUTION
Prepare a tray to catch the fuel remaining in the fuel filter cover.

3. MOUNTING THE ELEMENT
(1) Clean the element setting faces inside the fuel filter cover and
inside the fuel filter body.
(2) Replace the element with a new one and insert it into the fuel filter
cover.
(3) Apply fuel to the new O-ring and mount it into the groove of the
fuel filter cover.
! CAUTION
•
Do not reuse the element.
•
Replace the O-ring with a new one included in the element
kit.
