CLEANING THE AIR CLEANER ELEMENT

1. CLEANING THE AIR CLEANER ELEMENT
(1) Check the seal rubber for damage. If found defective, replace the
air cleaner element.
(2) If dry dust is adhered, blow compressed air (690 kPa {7.0 kgf/cm
2
100 lbf/in. } or less) from the upper flow side of the air cleaner ele-
ment to remove dust.
! CAUTION
Do not hit the air cleaner element or throw it down to the floor
when removing dust.
