2. MOUNTING THE ELEMENT
(1) Replace with a new O-ring and apply engine oil. Mount it to the
CAP
cap.
(2) Replace with a new element and mount it by aligning with the
body center boss.

(3) Mount the cap by turning clockwise until it lifts up.
! CAUTION
CAP
• Do not tighten the cap excessively.
• The O-ring is nonreusable.
•
Remove the dirt or foreign matter on the O-ring mounting
surface.
NOTICE
It is recommended that the element of the closed ventilator be
replaced once after replacing the oil filter twice.

(4) Mount the closed ventilator cover from the 2 bolts.
Tightening Torque:
SHTS021270700022
31 N·m {316 kgf·cm, 23 lbf·ft}
