Configure an MSDP peer.
C9000 Series
Syntax
ip msdp peer peer address [connect-source] [description] [sa-limit
number]
To remove the MSDP peer, use the no ip msdp peer peer address [connect-
source interface] [description name] [sa-limit number] command.

The following is a list of the Dell Networking OS version history for this command.
Enter the peer address in a dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D.).
Enter the keywords connect-source then one of the
interfaces and slot/port or number information:
For a Loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback
then a number from 0 to 16383.
For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-
channel then a number. The range is from 1 to 4096.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1
to 4094.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword description then a description
name (maximum 80 characters) to designate a description for
the MSDP peer.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the maximum number of SA entries in SA-
cache. The range is from 1 to 500000. The default it 500000.
