Use this command for interfaces connected to multi-access networks, not point-to-
point networks.

ip ospf retransmit-interval

Set the retransmission time between lost link state advertisements (LSAs) for adjacencies belonging to the
interface.

Syntax
ip ospf retransmit-interval seconds
To return to the default values, use the no ip ospf retransmit-interval
command.

Usage Information Set the time interval to a number large enough to prevent unnecessary retransmissions.
For example, the interval must be larger for interfaces connected to virtual links.
Enter the number of seconds as the interval between
retransmission. The range is from 1 to 3600. The default is 5
seconds.
This interval must be greater than the expected round-trip time
for a packet to travel between two routers.
