4.6.3 Replacing the rear bearings on the balancing device

Action
Apply flange sealant on the contact surface
of the balancing device. See the figure.
Apply an activator on the corresponding
contact surface of the shaft.
Note
The activator must be used to harden the
flange sealant.
Apply some grease in the hole for the
bearing in the cradle.
Note
Do not apply grease on surfaces with Mer-
casol.
Apply a threaded bar into the hole in the
balancing device.

Activator: 3HAC064686-001 (Loctite 7649).
