3.3.3 Inspecting the oil level in axis-3 gearbox

DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply
• hydraulic pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot
working area.
Make sure that the oil temperature is +25°C
± 10°C.
WARNING
Handling gearbox oil involves several
safety risks, see Gearbox lubricants (oil or
grease) on page 31.
Open the oil plug.
Check the oil level.
Required oil level is: 0 - 20 mm below the
oil plug hole.
Add or drain oil, if required.
Refit the oil plug.
DANGER
Make sure all safety requirements are met
when performing the first test run.
