Filling oil into the axis-4 gearbox
Use this procedure to refill the gearbox with oil.

WARNING
Used oil is hazardous material and must
be disposed of in a safe way. See
missioning on page 639 for more informa-
tion.
Refill oil or refit the oil plugs.
Action
Run the robot to calibration position.
DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply
• hydraulic pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the safe-
guarded space.
WARNING
Handling gearbox oil involves several
safety risks, see Gearbox lubricants (oil or
grease) on page 31.
Open the fill/level plug.
Refill the gearbox with oil.
Note
The amount of oil to be filled depends on
the amount previously being drained.
