Strut Bar

REMOVAL OF STRUT BAR
1. PLACE MATCHMARKS ON STRUT BAR
2. REMOVE FRONT NUT FROM STRUT BAR
3. REMOVE STRUT BAR FROM LOWER ARM
Remove the nuts holding the strut bar to the lower arm,
and remove the strut bar.
INSTALLATION OF STRUT BAR
1. INSTALL FRONT NUT
Install the front nut and align the matchmarks on the
strut bar.
2. INSTALL STRUT BAR TO BRACKET
(a) Install the washer and bushing to the strut bar and
install it to the bracket.
(b) Install the collar, bushing and washer to the strut
bar.
(c) Finger tighten the front nut.
3. CONNECT STRUT BAR TO LOWER ARM
Torque: 95 N–m (970 kgf–cm, 70 ft–Ibf)
4. TORQUE FRONT NUT
(a) Remove the stands and the vehicle to stabilize the
suspension.
(b) Torque the front nut.
Torque: 123 N–m (1,250 kgf–cm, 90 ft–lbf)
5. CHECK FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
