Parts Inspection
1. INSPECT SWITCHES
(Main Switch/Continuity)
Switch position
OFF
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
(Cruise Control Switch /Continuity)
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
(Cruise Control Switch/Resistance)
Measure the resistance value between terminals 2/5 and
4I5 or 2I2.
OFF
RESUME/ACCEL
SET/COAST
CANCEL
If resistance value is not as specified, replace the switch.
(Vacuum Switch /Operation)
(a) Check that there is continuity between terminals
(b) Check that there is no continuity between terminals
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
(Stop Light Switch /Continuity)
Inspect the switch continuity between terminals.
Switch pin free
(Brake pedal depressed)
Switch pin pushed in
(Brake pedal released)
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
