1. INSPECT SPEEDOMETER (ON–VEHICLE)

2. INSPECT SPEED SENSOR
Check that there is continuity between terminals A and B

(a) Using a speedometer tester, inspect the speedome–
ter for allowable indication error and check the oper–
ation of the odometer.
(b) Check the speedometer for pointer vibration and ab–
normal noise.
(a) Connect a tune–up test tachometer, and start the
engine.
