Use SECURITY/Wireless Protection Policies/Rogue Policies to navigate to this page.
This page allows you to select global parameters for rogue access point detection and containment.

Enable Rogue Location Discovery Protocol to have the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless System
automatically detect rogue access points on your wired network. Enabling this feature allows
the Automatically contain rogues on my network function to contain only the rogue access
points on your wired network, while ignoring the rogue access points on other floors or across
the street.
•
For Detect rogues on my wired network, select Alarm Only or Contain.
•
For Detect rouges advertising my SSID, select Alarm Only or Contain.
•
For Detect Ad-Hoc Networks, select Alarm Only or Contain
•
Expiration Timeout for Rogue AP Entries: The number of seconds an automatically-contained
rogue access point will continue to be contained.
