Special Considerations
While OmniAccess AP Access Points have been engineered for easy installation, there are some guide-
lines that are very important to the end users:
•
PLACE OmniAccess AP Access Points NO MORE THAN 140 FEET APART FROM EACH OTHER.
Placing OmniAccess AP Access Points further apart almost always results in poor coverage.
•
MAKE SURE THAT OmniAccess AP Access Points ARE
INSTALLED VERTICALLY. When OmniAccess AP Access Points
are installed vertically, either standing up in a plenum or
hanging from a ceiling, this creates the largest coverage area
per OmniAccess AP 1200 or 1250. Hanging OmniAccess AP
Access Points from the ceiling provides the best RF coverage.
