Enabling Site Survey Mode

When the OmniAccess AP 1200 or 1250 is in Site Survey mode, it broadcasts its SSID beacon on a
manually-selected channel. Perform the following to enable Site Survey mode:
Setting Up an ESD Workspace
You need an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) workspace to complete this installation. Because the 802.11
OmniAccess Radio Cards are very sensitive to electrostatic discharge, you can destroy them by not
following ESD procedures.
CAUTION:
have an ESD workplace, or you may destroy the OmniAccess AP 1200 or 1250
circuitry, and will void your warranty.
Configuring the OmniAccess AP 1200 or 1250 for Site Survey Mode
Use the T-10 Security Torx screwdriver to open the door on the front of each OmniAccess AP
1200 or 1250.
