Protocol: 802.11a, 802.11b, and so on. Click on item to edit the Third-Party AP channel number
and/or power level on
Interface Index: ACS-defined index number.
MAC Address: Third-Party AP MAC address.
Channel Number: What channel number the Third-Party AP is using.
Power Level: What transmit power level the Third-Party AP is using.
Configure <IPaddr> > <ThirdPartyAP> Properties
Use CONFIGURE/Access Points, on the left sidebar menu select Search for APs by All Foreign APs
and click Search, click an IP Address item, then click a Protocol item to access this page.
Note that the Standalone WPS Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless System described in About the Alcatel
OmniAccess Wireless System in the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless Product Guide does not support
Third-Party APs.
This page allows you to edit some Third-Party (foreign) AP parameters.
Interface Type (read only): 802.11a, 802.11b, and so on.
Interface Index (read only): ACS-defined index number.
MAC Address (read only): Third-Party AP MAC address.
You can change the following parameters on this page:
Channel Number: What channel number the Third-Party AP is to use.
Power Level: What transmit power level the Third-Party AP is to use.
Command Buttons
Save: Save changes to the Third-Party AP and the ACS database.
Configure <IPaddr> > General
Use CONFIGURE/Switches, click an IP address under the IP Address column, then on the left sidebar
menu select System/General to access this page.
This page allows you to edit general information for the selected Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or
Appliance.
