Logging into the ACS Web Interface

If not already done, start the ACS Server as described in the ACS Quick Installation Guide.
Note:
disabled, roll-forward recovery is not possible
Launch an Internet Explorer 6.0 (or other Web Browser).
Some documented features may not function properly if you choose to use any

Web Browser other than Internet Explorer 6.0 on a Windows workstation.
In the Web Browser address field, access the ACS Web Interface on port 80 by entering:
https://<localhost|ACS Software IP Address>
--or--
http://<localhost|ACS Software IP Address>
where https:// is a secure (http + Secure Sockets Layer) login, to which the ACS Software
usually returns a Security Alert message before continuing, and http:// is an unsecure login,
and where localhost is used when the ACS Web Interface is on the ACS Server, and where
ACS Software IP Address is the IP Address of the ACS Software on any other workstation.
Examples: http://localhost or https://176.89.43.44.
The ACS Web Interface displays the ACS Login page.

Use the login page to log into ACS Software as follows:

Enter your user name (default = root).

Enter your password (default = public).

Click Submit.
