Parameter
Port No
Port number on the Alcatel OmniAccess
Switch or Appliance.
STP Status
State of the Spanning Tree Protocol
Administrative Mode associated with the
port.
Admin Mode
Displays the state of the port.
Physical Mode
Displays the configuration of the port
physical interface.
Physical Status
Displays the actual port physical interface.
Link Status
Displays the status of the link.
Link Trap
Displays if the port is set to send a trap
when link status changes.
POE
Displays status of Power over Ethernet
functionality.
Mcast
Sets support for multicast appliance
Appliance
mode.
The physical mode and status may reflect different values depending on the link status. For example,
the physical mode may be set to "Auto" while the actual link is running at "10 Mbps Half Duplex".
To edit global parameters across all ports, click the ConfigureAll command button to open the
Configure
page.
To edit the parameters for a single port, select the Edit link for the port you wish to configure. This
brings up a
Port > Configure
