Step 2: Installing ACS Software
Continue with this process:
Note:
the ACS database first, and MUST uninstall the old version first. Refer to Using the
Alcatel OmniAccess Control System Software in the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless
Product Guide for instructions.
•
If not already done, log in as root.
•
Find the
acs-high-2.1.X.Y-install.bin
Software) or
acs-basic-2.1.X.Y-install.bin

In the Linux command line interface, navigate to the
acs-basic-2.1.X.Y-install.bin
•
Enter ./acs-high-2.1.X.Y-install.bin or ./acs-basic-2.1.X.Y-install.bin to start the
install script.
The install script prepares the install environment, and displays the Installer window, which
prompts you to change the HTTP and HTTPS ports, if necessary. Click Next when done.
•
In the Installer/About to Install window, click Next.
•
In the Installer window, select the default /usr/local/bin/ACS21 (or any other) directory.
Click Install.

trolSystem to erase the current ACS installation, delete any remaining
