Interference
The Interference view calculation assumes that the strongest signal of the My Access Points was the
associated one, and all other signals (Other Access Points) were interfering with it by sending data at
the same time.
The Interference view is a calculated estimate of a "worst-case scenario" for 802.11 interference - all
access points do not typically send high amounts of data all the time, unless there is at least one user
associated with each access point. The Interface View displays what happens when all access
points send data at the same time.
The figure below shows that by investigating the interference surface you can find the optimal channels
with minimum interference.
