Layer 2 or Layer 3 Lightweight Access Point Protocol transport
mode. When set to Layer 3, the LWAPP uses IP addresses to
communicate with the OmniAccess AP Access Points; these IP
addresses are collected from a mandatory DHCP server. When set
to Layer 2, the LWAPP uses proprietary code to communicate with
the OmniAccess AP Access Points.
Use the Save Configuration Administrative Tool to save the
configuration after changing this parameter. Then use the
Reboot
page to restart the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance
with a configuration save after changing this parameter.
Enable or disable multicast support.
Enable or disable aggressive load balance algorithm.
Enable or disable peer to peer blocking mode. Disabled (default)
allows same-subnet clients to communicate through the Alcatel
OmniAccess Switch or Appliance. Enable forces same-subnet
clients to communicate through a higher-level router.
Enable or disable over-the-air OmniAccess AP 1200 or 1250 and
OmniAccess AP 1200R or 1250R (OmniAccess AP 1200R or
1250R) configuration.
Operator-defined Mobility Group Name. Refer to the Alcatel
Mobility Group section in the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless Product
Guide.
Set time out for idle clients in seconds. The factory default is 300.
When timeout expires, client loses authentication, briefly disasso-
ciates from the OmniAccess AP 1200 or 1250, reassociates, and
re-authenticates.
Timeout in seconds for the Address Resolution Protocol. The
factory default is 300.
