or Appliance.

b Clients: Number of 802.11b clients currently associated with the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch

g Clients: Number of 802.11g clients currently associated with the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch
or Appliance.

Total: Total number of clients currently associated with the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or
Appliance.

Search for clients by (pulldown):
•
All Clients: All clients currently associated with the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance.
•
All Excluded Clients: List of all clients who fail to authenticate three times when attempting to
associate who are automatically blocked, or disabled, from further association attempts for an
operator-defined timeout.
•
IP Address: Local network IP Address of the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance Distri-
bution System Port, described in the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless Product Guide.
•
User Name: User-defined client name.
•
MAC Address: Client MAC address.
•
AP: OmniAccess AP Access Points associated with this Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance.
•
Switch: Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance to which the user is attached.
•
Floor Area: User defined name of the indoor location.
•
Outdoor Area: User-defined name of the outdoor location.
•
Search (button).

Protocol: 802.11a or 802.11b/g.
•
SSID: Any of the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless System WLAN SSIDs.
•
Include Disassociated: Include the disassociated clients in the search.

Monitor Clients
Use MONITOR/Clients, select All Clients, All Excluded Clients, IP Address, User Name, MAC
Address, AP, Switch, Floor Area or Outdoor Area and click Search to access this page.
Note that the Standalone WPS Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless System described in About the Alcatel
OmniAccess Wireless System in the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless Product Guide does not support data
or voice clients.
