Configure Trap Receiver > Template <name>
Use CONFIGURE/Templates, from the left sidebar menu under Management select Trap
Receivers, then click a list item under Template Name to access this page.
This page allows you to edit a trap receiver template.
•
Template Name: The name of the server where the traps are sent.
•
No. of Switches Applied To: Number of Alcatel OmniAccess Switches and Appliances to which
this template is applied (read only).
•
IP Address: The IP Address of the server.
•
Admin Status: Status must be enabled for the SNMP traps to be sent to the server.

This page allows you to edit SNMP trap controls for a specified template.

Template Name: User-defined name of this template.
•
No of Switches Applied To: Number of Alcatel OmniAccess Switches and Appliances to which
this template is applied (read only).
Check the boxes as required.

The SNMPv2 entity has received a protocol message that is not properly
authenticated.
Link changes status from up or down.
Two users login with the same login ID.
Spanning Tree traps. Refer to the STP specifications for descriptions of
individual parameters.
Whenever a rogue access point is detected this trap will be sent with its
MAC Address; When a rogue access point that was detected earlier and it
no longer exists this trap is sent.
Notification sent when the configuration is modified.
