Configuring System Parameters

The Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance requires a few basic system parameters to communicate
with other network devices. Perform the following to set these parameters:

Use the show time command to view the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance time and
date.

If necessary, set the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance time and date by entering:
>config time MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS

Use the show time command to verify that the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance has
stored your input. Continue with the next parameter.
