config network master-base

To set the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance as a master, use the config network master-base
command. This setting is only used upon network installation and should be disabled after the initial
network configuration.
Because the Master Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance is normally not used in a deployed
network, the Master Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance setting is automatically disabled upon
reboot or Alcatel OmniAccess OS code upgrade.

config network mgmt-via-wireless

To enable Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance management from an associated wireless client, use
the config network mgmt-via-wireless command. Note that this feature allows wireless clients to
manage only the Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or Appliance associated with the client AND the associated
OmniAccess AP 1200 or 1250. That is, clients cannot manage another Alcatel OmniAccess Switch or
Appliance with which they are not associated.
