Starting to Work with the Site Survey Tool
1.
Open the Site Survey Tool by selecting the Site Survey Tool icon in the Start > Programs >
Alcatel > Site Survey 1.0 > Alcatel Site Survey. This will automatically launch Alcatel Client
service that reads WLAN information from your adapter.

Make sure that Alcatel Client runs properly by clicking the blue icon in the Windows task bar:

If you cannot see the icon, start Alcatel Client from Start > Programs > Alcatel > Client
Controller.

After the Site Survey Tool has started, click the Signals tab in the lower part of the screen. If
you can't see changing signal values, make sure that Alcatel Client is running, and your adapter
and driver version are supported (see
