19-401 Out of memory - Stress Document.
19-402 Out of memory - Stress Job.
19-403 Out of memory with greater than one job in EPC.
Also use this RAP when a fault code is not displayed but the machine fails to complete com-
plex jobs.
Also use this RAP when memory related messages appear e.g.:
• Resources low, will start shortly
• Please wait your job will start shortly
• System memory is full. Please wait while memory resources are made available to con-
tinue your job. Do not press the start button again the scanner will start automatically. Or
touch Cancel Job to cancel your job.
Initial Actions
Switch off the machine, then switch on the machine, GP 14.
Procedure
Perform the following:
• Reseat the EPC memory PWBs, (32-55 ppm) PL 3.20 Item 12 or (65-87 ppm) PL 3.10
Item 12.
• Check that there is sufficient EPC memory for the type of job that the customer is pro-
cessing. Refer to GP 24 Memory Resources. Inform the customer of the minimum recom-
mendation. If necessary install additional EPC memory, (32-55 ppm) PL 3.20 Item 12 or
(65-87 ppm) PL 3.10 Item 12.
• The problem may be the EPC memory PWB. Install a new EPC memory PWB, (32-55
ppm) PL 3.20 Item 12 or (65-87 ppm) PL 3.10 Item 12.

Initial Actions
• Check for DADH misfeed.
• Check for jammed paper before the fuser.
• If the job has mixed originals, make sure that Mixed Size Originals is selected on the UI.
• Switch off the machine, then switch on the machine, GP 14.
Procedure
Perform the following:
• Perform 03-315, 325, 347, 348, 349, 355, 400, Image Processor PWB Failure RAP.
• Check the history files for DADH 05-XX faults and if necessary perform the appropriate
RAP.
• If prints are mostly black, fuzzy or scrambled make sure that all grounding straps are
secure. If necessary perform 01A Ground Distribution RAP.
