Enter dC330 code 11-032 Bin 1 Elevator Motor Down, to move Bin 1 down, PL 11.52.
NOTE: The tray moves down for 15 seconds and then stops.
Enter dC330 code 11-034 Bin 1 Offset Motor, to offset Bin 1, PL 11.52 Item 6.
Enter dC330 code 11-036 Bin 2 Elevator Motor Home, to move Bin 2 up to the home posi-
tion, PL 11.54.
Enter dC330 code 11-038 Bin 2 Elevator Motor down, to move Bin 2 down, PL 11.54.
NOTE: The tray increments down for 15 seconds and then stops.
Enter dC330 code 11-040 Bin 2 Offset Motor, to offset Bin 2, PL 11.54 Item 6.

Possible causes and potential solutions are:

Solution:
Check the machine to HCSS alignment ADJ 11.1-130.
Adjust the components if appropriate.
Install new parts as necessary.

Mis-adjusted or worn drive belts.
Solution:
Adjust the belt tension as required.
Install new parts as necessary.
Squeak.
Possible causes are:
The upper transport drive shafts, on the vertical paper transport, PL 11.40.
The compiler carriage entry shaft, PL 11.48 Item 16.
When bin 1 tray or bin 2 tray are offsetting, PL 11.52 Item 9 or PL 11.54 Item 9.
Solution:
Remove and clean the drive shafts, bearings and then lubricate. Refer to ADJ 4.1
Machine Lubrication.
Refer to ADJ 4.1 Machine Lubrication. Go to the procedure Bin 1 Tray (HCSS and
HCSS BM) Bin 2 Tray (HCSS) and lubricate the components in the procedure.
Install new parts as necessary.
Clicking Noise from the HCSS.
Possible causes are:
Transport motor 2, dC330 code 11-001, continually operating for approximately 15
seconds. This occurs every time the top cover assembly, PL 11.30 Item 19, or the
front door, PL 11.30 Item 5, is opened then closed.

Solution:
Ensure the staple cartridge is fully seated.
Ensure that the correct staple cartridge is installed.
Perform 11-364-130, 11-370-130 Stapling Failure RAP.
HCSS BM
Run the following components:
Make sure that the first tamper in the compiler carriage is returned to the home position before
the second tamper is checked in diagnostics.
Enter dC330 code 11-000 Transport Motor 1, to run the input transport roll, PL 11.70 Item
5.
Enter dC330 code 11-001 Transport Motor 2, to run the compiler entry shaft, the jam
clearance knob rotates, PL 11.74 Item 16 and the transport shaft PL 11.75 Item 8.
Enter dC330 code 11-003 Tamp. Mot. Front Home, to move the front tamper to the home
position PL 11.72 Item 10.
Enter dC330 code 11-004 Tamp. Mot. Rear Home, to move the rear tamper to the home
position, PL 11.72 Item 10.
Enter dC330 code 11-005 Tamp. Mot. Front Move, to move the front tamper to the centre
of the compiler, PL 11.72 Item 10.
Enter dC330 code 11-006 Tamp. Mot. Rear Move, to move the rear tamper to the centre
of the compiler tray, PL 11.72 Item 10.
Enter dC330 code 11-010 CC Eject Roll Motor, to run the compiler carriage eject rolls, PL
11.73 and PL 11.75 Item 1.
Enter dC330 code 11-023 Eject Mot. cycle, to cycle the eject housing assembly, PL 11.73
