The fault can be intermittent, perform the following:
• Check the wiring, GP 7. Repair if necessary, REP 1.2.
• Check for binding of the transfer / detack cleaner as it moves up and down the corotron
shield. part of PL 10.25 Item 1.
• Ensure that P/J65 on the IOT PWB is connected correctly.
• Check for toner contamination on the front end of the short paper path. With the corotron
removed, clean the contaminated area. Remove and clean the transfer / detack cleaner
home sensor.
