11C-130 HCSS Power Distribution RAP

Use this RAP to check the HCSS power distribution.
NOTE: . The HCSS has an integral power supply providing +24V and +5V to the HCSS PWB.
The AC power for the HCSS power supply comes from the LVPS and base module of the
machine.
CAUTION
Do not connect the HCSS power cord directly to the AC wall outlet. The HCSS cannot operate
without the machine. The machine controls the distribution of electricity to the HCSS for correct
power on and power off sequencing.
Initial Actions
• Ensure the HCSS is correctly docked to the machine and all interlocks are closed.
• Go to the OF12 Output Device Undocked RAP and complete the procedure.
Procedure
WARNING
Take care when measuring AC mains (line) voltage. Electricity can cause death or injury.
Close or cheat all the HCSS interlocks.. The HCSS performs a mechanical reset.

Go to Flag 2.. +5V is available at P/J434 between pins 9 and 11.

+5V is available at PJ464 on the HCSS power supply module between pins 1
and 2.

Go to Flag 1. . ACL is available at PJ22 on the LVPS and base module
between pins 1 and 2.

Go to the 01C AC Power RAP and check the AC output voltages.
Install a new HCSS power supply module, PL 11.56 Item 2.
Go to Flag 2. Disconnect P/J434.. +5V is available at the harness end of P/J434
between pins 9 and 11.

Check the connectors and harness between PJ464 and P/J434. Repair the
harness as necessary.
Install a new HCSS PWB, PL 11.56 Item 5.
Go to Flag 3. . 0V is available at PJ464 pin 9 on the HCSS power supply module.

0V is available at P/J434 pin 13.

Install a new HCSS PWB, PL 11.56 Item 5.
Check the connectors and harness between PJ464 and P/J434. Repair the harness
as necessary.
Go to Flag 2. . +24V is available at P/J434 between pins 5 and 8.

Install a new HCSS power supply module, PL 11.56 Item 2.
Check the connectors and harness between PJ464 and P/J434. Repair the harness
as necessary.

Check the connectors and harness between P/J410 and P/J434. Repair the har-

Check the connectors and harness between P/J410 and P/J434. Repair the har-
ness as necessary.
