22-370 Cannot Communicate to the XSA Database RAP

22-370 A loss of data communications between the image processing PWB and the network
controller.
The Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA) feature will only be available on a System Terminal (ST)
devices. The administrator enables the feature through the machine user Interface or by a Web
user interface.
Procedure
Perform the following:
• Switch off the machine, then switch on the machine, GP 14.
• Check the connections between the image processing PWB and the network controller.
Refer to 03-340, 03-416 Image Processing PWB and Network Controller Faults RAP.

22-400 to 22-403, 22-775 Option Install Failure RAP
22-400 The system manager failed to install the network scanning (scan to file) option.
22-401 The system manager failed to install the server fax option.
22-402 The system manager failed to install the E-mail (scan to E-mail) option.
22-403 The system manager failed to install the internet fax option.
22-775 The system manager failed to install the CPSR file cabinet option.
Procedure
Perform the following:
• Switch off the machine, then switch on the machine, GP 14.
• Enter Machine status / Machine Details / System Software Version.
The version number should start with 21. If the software version starts with the number
12, this is a WorkCentre model and does not support internal fax option.
• Select Machine Hardware Option Configuration and check:
– The network controller: Present.
– Check that the Firewire cable is connected between the network controller and the
image processor PWB, (32-55 ppm) PL 3.20 Item 3 or (65-87 ppm) PL 3.10 Item 3.
– The network controller RAM should be a minimum of 96Mb.
If less than 96Mb then increase the memory capacity, PL 16.10 Item 9.
If unknown, then check the image processor FireWire cable is connected correctly at
the network controller and at the image processor PWB module, PL 16.10 Item 12.
• Reinstall the failed option. Refer to the system administration guide CD1, for the install
instruction. Enter the kit option number found in the software options kit.
