ipx: Internet Packet Exchange Protocol.
Description
Using the bridge bridging command, you can enable a specified bridge set to bridge a
network layer protocol. Using the undo bridge bridging command, you can disable
the specified bridge set to bridge the network layer protocol.
The packets that cannot be routed will be discarded when the bridging function is
disabled for the IP or IPX protocol in a bridge set.
By default, the bridging function is enabled.
Note:
This command can be configured only after a bridge set has been configured.
Example
# Stop the bridging fucntion for IP protocol.
[3Com]undo bridge 1 bridging ip
# Enable the bridging of IP.
[3Com]bridge 1 bridging ip

Description
Using the bridge enable command, you can enable the bridging function. Using the
undo bridge enable command, you can disable the bridging function.
By default, the system disables the bridging function.
Only after the bridging function is enabled, can the configuration be valid.
