Syntax
network ip-address [ mask netmask ]
undo network
View
DHCP address pool view
Parameter
ip-address: The subnet address of an IP address pool allocated dynamically.
netmask: The network mask of an IP address pool, if it is not entered, a natural mask
(based on IANA) will be used.
Description
Using the network command, you can configure the range of the IP addresses
allocated dynamically. Using the undo network command, you can cancel the range
of the IP addresses allocated dynamically.
By default, no range of the IP addresses allocated dynamically is configured.
It is necessary to configure the range of the address pool for the addresses allocated
to the clients dynamically (including the permanent dynamic addresses and those
dynamic addresses which have a limited lease period).
This configuration command cannot be superimposed, that is, each DHCP address
pool can be configured with only one segment. The latest configuration will overwrite
the original one (including deleting the manually binding configuration). If the system
needs multi-segment addresses, multiple address pools should be used.
The command network and the commands static-bind ip-address and static-bind
mac-address cannot be used together. For the same DHCP address pool, either
dynamic address pools, or statically binding addresses can be configured.
For related commands, see dhcp server ip-pool, dhcp server forbidden-ip.
Example
# Specify 192.168.8.0/24 to be the address range of the DHCP address pool 0.
[Quidway-dhcp0] network 192.168.8.0 mask 255.255.255.0
