half-life-unreachable: Half life when the route becomes unreachable, ranging from 1
to 45 minutes; 15 minutes by default.
reuse: Lower time threshold, ranging from 1 to 20000; 750 seconds by default. If the
penalty is lower than this time, the route will be reused.
suppress: Upper time threshold, ranging from 1 to 20000, 2000 seconds by default. If
the penalty is higher than this threshold, the route will be suppressed,
ceiling: The Max. time limit of suppression, ranging from 1 to 20000. 1600 seconds by
default.
policy-name: Configure route policy name.
Description
Using the Dampening command, you can put BGP route attenuation in effect or
modify the BGP route attenuation parameter. Using the undo dampening command,
you can cancel the configured route attenuation.
If no parameters are configured in this command, then BGP route dampening is valid,
and the parameters take default values. The parameters are mutually dependent.
Once any parameter is configured, all other parameters should also be specified.
