3Com Router Command Reference Guide — V1.00
When T2 timer expires, DTE (DCE) will send an acknowledgement, which will enable
peer DTE(DCE) to receive it before its T1 timer expires(T2<T1).
When T3 timer expires, DCE will report to packet layer that VC has been idle for a long
time(T3>T1). T3 timer of 0ms means this timer will never take effect.
Example
# Set the T1 retransmission timer on Serial0 to 1000ms.
[3Com-Serial0]lapb timer t1 1000
