3Com Command Reference Guide — V1.00
If there are crypto cards plugged in the router, you can use the command enable or
disable to flexibly manage the crypto cards. According to the actual requirements,
you can set the crypto cards to be in disabled status (disable the crypto cards to
process data) or enabled status. It will facilitate the maintenance, management and
debugging.

# Enable the crypto card in Slot 0.
[3Com] encrypt-card enable 0
# Reset the crypto card in Slot 0.

Syntax
encrypt-card reset { slot-id | all }

Parameter
slot-id: The ID of the slot where the crypto card is located, the range is determined by
the slot numbers of the router.
all: Implement the operation on all the crypto cards.
Description
Using the encrypt-card reset command, you can reset the crypto card.
This command is applicable to crypto cards.
This command restores the initial setting of the crypto card. And the host will transmit
the configuration information on itself back to the crypto card again.
When the crypto card operates abnormally, this command can be used to reset the
crypto card. Do not use this command during normal operation.
