Parameter
multiplier: Multiplier used to calculate the RIP routing table aging period. The actual
aging time is "multiplier" multiplies with the RIP upgrading period. The value range is
1~1000, the default value is 3.
Description
Using the ipx rip multiplier command, you can configure the aging period of the RIP
routing table. Using the undo ipx rip multiplier command, you can restore the RIP
routing table aging period to default.
RIP route will be regarded as invalid after a period of no updating. The same RIP
aging cycle should be used by allrouters in the same IPX network.

Parameter
seconds: RIP update time in seconds, ranging from 10 to 60000 seconds. The default
RIP update time is 60 seconds.
Description
Using the ipx rip timer update command, you can configure intervals for IPX RIP to
control how long it will be waiting to receive the next RIP update packets. Using the
undo ipx rip timer update command, you can restore the default value.
When the router is started or shut down, it is necessary to exchange routing
information with other routers through propagation. When it is running, it needs to
