2.1.1 aaa accounting-scheme optional
Syntax
aaa accounting-scheme optional
undo aaa accounting-scheme optional
View
System view
Parameter
None
Description
Using the aaa accounting-scheme optional command, you can enable the AAA
accounting option switch. Using the undo aaa accounting-scheme optional
command, you can shut down the AAA accounting option switch.
By default, the switch is shut down, that is, accounting must be performed on the
user.
If the aaa accounting-scheme optional command is configured when the RADIUS
accounting server is not available or communication with the RADIUS accounting
server fails, then the user can continue to use the network resources. Otherwise the
user will be disconnected.
This command is often used in the case of authentication without accounting. If this
command is configured, and if no accounting server is available after authentication
is successful, then the user can still use the network resources. In this way, this
command helps achieve the purpose of authentication without accounting.
