Parameter
line-number: E1 channel number in the range of 1 to 16.
Description
Using the e1 shutdown command, you can disable an E1 channel on the CE3
interface. Using the undo e1 shutdown command, you can enable an E1 channel.
By default, the E1 channel on the CE3 interface is UP.
This command is valid for E1 channels and the serial interfaces formed by binding
the E1 channels. After executing the e1 shutdown command on the E1 channel, all
the serial interfaces formed by channel binding on the E1 channel will be shut down,
and data transmitting and receiving activities will stop. Executing the undo e1
shutdown command, however, will re-enable the E1 channel and the serial
interfaces formed by channel binding operations.

# Disable the first E1 channel on the E3 interface.
