3.1.1 abr-summary area

abr-summary ip-address mask mask area area-id [ advertise | notadvertise ]

ip-address: IP address, in dotted decimal format.
mask: IP mask, in dotted decimal format.
area_id: ID of the area.
advertise: The abstract information to this network segment route will be broadcast
notadvertise: The abstract information to this network segment route will not be
broadcast
Description
Using the abr-summary area command, you can configure route summarization at
an area boundary. Using the undo abr-summary area command, you can cancel
route summarization at the area boundary.
By default, disable the function.
Note that routing summary configuration is only valid on the ABR.
Example
# Summarize hop (range) 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 and add it to area 2.
[3Com-ospf] abr-summary 10.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 area 2
