cbs burst-size: The normal size of data block in burst traffic, ranging from 15,000 to
155,000,000bits. By default, the value of normal-burst-size is 1/2 of the value of
target-rate.
ebs excess-burst-size: The maximum size of data block in burst traffic, ranging from
0 to 155,000,000bits. By default, the value of excess-burst-size is 0.
queue-length queue-length: Maximum length of buffer queue, ranging from 1 to
1024. By default, the value of buffer-limit is of 50 packets.
Description
Using the qos gts command, you can configure traffic shaping parameters and start
shaping for a certain kind of traffic flow or all kinds of traffic flow. Using the undo qos
gts command, you can cancel the shaping configuration for a specific traffic flow or
all kinds of traffic flow.
To set shaping parameters for data rates in conformity with an ACL rule, use this
command. To set shaping parameters for different traffic rates, use different acl-index.
qos gts any command cannot be used with the qos gts acl command
simultaneously. This command can take effect only after the function of fast
forwarding is disabled.
Example
1. # Shape traffic for all packets on interface Ethernet 0. The normal data flow rate is
38,400bps. In burst traffic, a data block whose size is twice of the value of the normal
flow rate can be processed. Later, when the data rate subsides to a normal rate,
which is less than or equal to 38400bps, packets will be processed in normal rate; In
case the rate is over 38400bps, packets will be processed into packet buffer. The
length of buffer queue is 100.

2. # Shape the traffic flow for packets in conformity with ACL rule 1 applied on
interface Ethernet 0. The normal data flow rate is 38400bps. In burst traffic, a data
block whose size is twice of the value of the normal flow rate can be processed. Later,
when the data rate subsides to a normal rate, which is less than or equal to 38400bps,

will be processed into packet buffer. The length of buffer queue is 100
