2.1.11 preference

Parameter
value: Preference value specified for RIP, ranging from 1 to 255. The default value is
100.
Description
Using the preference command, you can configure routing preference for RIP based
on route type. Using the undo preference command, you can restore the default
value.
Each routing protocol has its own routing preference, and its default value is decided
by the specific routing policy. The routing preference will finally decide which routing
algorithm is used to select the best route in the IP routing table. You can manually
adjust the RIP preference with this command.

# Set the RIP routing preference to 20.
[3Com-rip] preference 20
