5.1 POS Terminal Access Service Configuration Commands

5.1.1 async mode pos

Syntax
async mode pos pos-number

Asynchronous interface view or FCM interface view
Parameter
pos-number: POS access port number, ranging from 0 to 127.
Description
Using the async mode pos command, you can configure the POS access port.
By default, the asynchronous interface or FCM interface operates in the dedicated
mode. Therefore, no POS access port is configured by default.
The port can provide POS access service and process POS packet only after the
interface is configured to enable the service.
Example
# Set the number of the access port async0 to 1.
[3Com-Async0] async mode pos 1
