Description
Using the rip split-horizon command, you can enable the split horizon mechanism.
Using the undo rip split-horizon command, you can disable the split horizon
mechanism.
By default, the split horizon mechanism is disabled.
Normally, split horizon is necessary to avoid the appearance of bad routes. Only in
some special circumstances is it necessary to cancel horizontal split to ensure the
execution of correct protocol. Before you cancel it, you need to make sure if it is
necessary.
