Parameter
cost: When RIP imports the routes found by other protocols, such as OSPF, if the
cost of the route is not set, the value cost of the command default-cost will be used.
By default, it is 16.
Description
Using the default-cost command, you can configure the default cost values for RIP to
import the routes of other protocols. Using the undo default-cost command, you can
restore the default value of the default cost.
When the import-route command is used to import the routes of other protocols, if
the route cost is not specified, the values specified by the default-cost command will
be used for redistribution.

# Set the default cost for RIP to 3 when a route is imported from the other routing
protocols.

Description
Using the display rip command, you can view the current running status and
configuration information of RIP.
According to the information output through this command, you can confirm if the
current configuration is correct and perform RIP fault diagnosis.
